Role Overview

We are currently looking for a talented Chef to join our dynamic team in Invercargill, Southland. The role involves preparing and serving premium quality dishes across cafe services, events, and functions, collaborating closely with the Food and Beverage team to deliver memorable experiences. Adaptability and composure in a fast-paced kitchen environment are key, as each day brings different demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve top-quality meals for daily cafe operations and various events or functions.
• Coordinate with the Food and Beverage team to enhance each event's culinary impact.
• Maintain composure and efficiency in a busy, fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Contribute to fostering a positive, safe, and supportive kitchen atmosphere.

Candidate Requirements

• A passion for Southland cuisine, demonstrating creativity and vision in presenting regional dishes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including days and nights across a seven-day roster.
• Proven hands-on experience in chef positions is essential.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
