About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Head Chef to ensure kitchen operations run efficiently.
• Stay informed about daily business activities, reservations, and special events to adapt kitchen operations accordingly.
• Prepare high-quality dishes adhering strictly to menu standards and presentation guidelines.
• Implement measures to reduce waste by controlling portion sizes and ensuring cost efficiency.
• Maintain full compliance with HACCP standards within the kitchen and related Food & Beverage areas.
• Oversee kitchen equipment upkeep and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Provide training and leadership to kitchen staff, including supervision of junior members.
• Manage stock levels, monitor inventory, and place orders as required.
• Work collaboratively with other department managers to uphold exceptional service standards.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a hotel of similar scale.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience mentoring junior chefs and managing multiple kitchen sections simultaneously.
• HACCP certification and expertise in stock control.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and operational excellence.
