Night Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Night Manager to join Sheraton Athlone Hotel, part of the renowned Hodson Bay Group, located in Athlone and Bigmeadow, County Westmeath, Ireland. This senior role involves overseeing the hotel's operations during night hours, maintaining high service standards, and supporting staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all hotel activities between 11:00 pm and 7:30 am, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
• Lead and inspire the night shift team to provide outstanding guest experiences.
• Handle guest concerns, requests, and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Perform night audit tasks for accurate financial documentation.
• Enforce safety protocols and security measures throughout the hotel premises.
• Identify opportunities to boost revenue through upselling and inventory management.
• Contribute to training and professional development of night staff.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum one year of experience in a night management, auditing, or supervisory role within a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership qualities coupled with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain composed and to problem-solve calmly under pressure.
• Familiarity with hotel management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Capable of communicating fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• A strong passion for hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
