About the Role

The Talbot Hotel Clonmel, a proud member of the Talbot Collection, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This role is centered around delivering exceptional quality food to patrons of our Wheat Bar & Bistro as well as guests attending functions and weddings, especially during busy periods. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will be essential in maintaining high standards across all kitchen sections.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes promptly while adhering to the agreed quality standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment and machinery safely and responsibly using recognized culinary techniques.
• Maintain excellent personal hygiene at all times.
• Assist in managing kitchen service provisions and upkeep.
• Collaborate effectively within the busy kitchen team and the wider hotel staff.
• Provide support in various kitchen sections as required by business demands.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar Chef de Partie role is essential.
• Capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong passion for culinary quality and presentation.
• Certification in HACCP and a strong commitment to hygiene excellence.
• Professional demeanor and positive work ethic.
• Team player able to integrate seamlessly within a busy kitchen setup.
