Job description
Role Overview
Join Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand as a Checkout Operator and contribute to delivering excellent customer service in one of our 185 stores nationwide. As part of a diverse and energetic team of 20,000 members, you'll play a vital part in making the daily lives of three million New Zealanders a little better.
Work Schedule
- Monday: 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Friday: 6:00 AM - 1:15 PM
- Saturday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person customer service at checkout stations.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
- Offer assistance to customers by sharing knowledge about store products and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the sale of age-restricted items such as tobacco and alcohol.
- Support customers using self-service checkout systems.
