Chartered Valuer

Overview

We are hiring a Chartered Valuer to join our expanding team in Limerick, Ireland. This position offers a great chance for a commercially minded property expert to service a varied client base including investors, developers, banks, and occupiers across the Irish real estate market. The role is full-time and permanent, based onsite with hybrid working possibilities.

Key Duties

• Conduct and supervise valuation projects across multiple commercial property categories.
• Handle existing client portfolios and build new business relationships with prospective clients.
• Lead project execution ensuring top-quality, precise, and professional outcomes.
• Compile and scrutinize valuation reports compliant with RICS and SCSI regulations.
• Perform market analysis studying property dynamics, legislative changes, and economic influences on real estate.
• Discover and cultivate fresh business leads through networking and industry connections.
• Serve as a dependable advisor for various clients including banks and institutional investors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize client offerings and integrated solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues, enhancing their professional skills.
• Assist in achieving departmental business goals and strategic plans.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, client-oriented, skilled in property valuation, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Property, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Accreditation as a Chartered Surveyor with RICS and/or SCSI.
• Authorized as a Registered Valuer and APC accredited.
• Between 5 and 8 years of professional experience in commercial real estate valuation or advisory.
• In-depth knowledge of the Irish property markets and relevant economic and legal factors.
• Outstanding capabilities in report writing, data analysis, and negotiation.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CRM and business platforms such as Salesforce or Workday.
• Experience leading or coaching junior staff.
• A wide professional network within Ireland's property sector.
