Job description
Role Overview
The role requires a certified drone operator skilled in capturing high-resolution aerial photographs, videos, and survey data. The operator will utilize various drone payloads, including RGB cameras, RTK/PPK systems, and LiDAR technology, to gather precise aerial imagery and survey information.
Core Responsibilities
- Capture aerial images and videos of exceptional quality for commercial and technical uses.
- Conduct aerial surveys using diverse equipment such as RGB cameras, RTK/PPK, LiDAR, among other payloads.
- Understand fundamental geospatial concepts including Ground Control Points (GCPs), Ground Sampling Distance (GSD), image overlapping, orthomosaic generation, Digital Surface Models (DSM), Digital Elevation Models (DEM), and point cloud data processing.
- Operate multirotor and fixed-wing drones proficiently for varied applications.
- Employ flight controllers such as Cube and Pixhawk to manage drone operations effectively.
- Use mission planning software platforms like QGroundControl, Mission Planner, DJI Pilot, or their equivalents for flight execution and planning.
Additional Information
Experience or familiarity with flight controller software PX4 and ArduPilot is considered advantageous but not mandatory.
