About the Role

Join MPS - Motion Picture Solutions as a QC Operator and become an essential part of the post-production team ensuring the highest quality digital cinema content is delivered. Your responsibility will be the final quality assurance for feature films, trailers, and promotional clips destined for the big screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed quality control inspections of DCPs, file-based, and broadcast content to maintain industry-leading standards.
• Adhere strictly to established QC procedures and DCI compliance requirements.
• Identify and address technical issues with accuracy and professionalism.
• Effectively communicate technical QA results to both technical specialists and non-technical audiences.
• Escalate urgent quality concerns promptly to management and senior QC staff.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated success managing time-sensitive projects with assurance.
• Background in Digital Cinema QC, preferably within post-production or theatrical environments.
• Keen attention to detail with strong dedication to accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills across diverse teams.

Technical Skills and Attributes

• Quick comprehension of intricate systems and workflows.
• Proficient in operating Digital Cinema theatre hardware and articulating technical challenges clearly.
• Thrives under pressure in dynamic settings.
• Familiarity with Linux, Mac OS, and Windows platforms.
• Enthusiastic about film technology and cinema.
• Proactive and hands-on with excellent multitasking capabilities.
• Highly responsible and persistent.
• Comfortable working with numbers and detailed information.
• Resourceful problem solver with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of producing concise technical documentation.
• Effective collaborator in team-oriented environments.

Work Conditions and Schedule

This position operates on a shift basis, which may include weekend hours. The role requires attendance at the office in London.
