Job Overview

The role is based in Morbi, India, for a leading ceramic manufacturing firm within the Ashapura Group. The primary responsibility is to oversee and enhance the quality management of ceramic products, ensuring high standards throughout production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and regulate raw materials, ceramic body compositions, glazes, and final product quality.
  • Perform detailed laboratory testing and analysis of ceramic materials.
  • Maintain consistent product quality standards in the manufacturing process.
  • Investigate production challenges and recommend effective technical solutions.
  • Keep comprehensive laboratory documentation, including records, reports, and test data.
  • Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to implement process enhancements.
  • Adhere to established quality assurance and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Expertise in ceramic raw materials, formulation of glazes and bodies, and standard testing methodologies.
  • Experience in laboratory analysis and quality control within the ceramic manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency in technical reporting.

Educational Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization or a B.Sc degree in any discipline.

Additional Information

The position demands prior industry experience ranging from 2 to 8 years specifically in ceramic tiles, sanitaryware, vitrified tiles, or ceramic manufacturing. Remuneration is competitive and negotiable based on individual experience.
