Overview

Key Duties

• Welcome customers warmly and courteously as they arrive at checkout.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, ensuring proper deactivation of items according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) procedure.
• Promote various company initiatives, including credit card offers, product protection plans, and charitable activities.
• Assist shoppers with packing and handling their purchased goods.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, such as correct lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work area.
• Safeguard register security and integrity by diligent cash management and adherence to company policies, keeping vigilant about surroundings.
• When required, direct specific service or transaction inquiries to a Customer Service Manager.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is a minimum $16.15 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
