About the Role
Join UnitingCare Queensland as a Case Manager for the ASPIRE Program based in Townsville. This full-time position (38 hours per week) offers a maximum term until 22 September 2027. The hourly rate is $53.43 plus superannuation with additional not-for-profit salary packaging benefits to enhance take-home pay.
UnitingCare Queensland leads efforts in crisis response, protection of vulnerable individuals and children, financial resilience, and family wellbeing across Queensland. Our Family and Disability Services (FaDS) team is devoted to positively impacting lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments.
- Develop and implement client-centered plans.
- Deliver counselling and therapeutic support to clients.
- Manage casework for vulnerable young people effectively.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to provide integrated responses supporting Aspire clients.
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Possession of an undergraduate degree in relevant human services fields such as Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or Human and Behavioural Sciences.
- Proven knowledge and application of therapeutic techniques, including sound analytical and evaluative abilities to form objective recommendations.
- Experience delivering youth support, counselling, and case management resulting in clients making informed life decisions.
- Understanding of child and youth development, especially pertaining to trauma, violence, and grief.
- Current Queensland Driver's License and a valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
