Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in managing a small team that oversees administrative support for various HR processes and compliance within the College. This position demands expertise in HR policies and procedures, with a focus on advising and training Line Managers on topics such as position management. The role also involves handling basic case management and driving change management initiatives.

Key Duties

  • Lead and coordinate a small HR team to provide effective administrative support for College human resources processes and compliance activities.
  • Offer expert advice and conduct training sessions for Line Managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and position management.
  • Manage lower-level case management and participate in organizational change management efforts.
  • Oversee employee support services including coordination of Family and Domestic Violence Officers and Equal Opportunity Contact Officers within the College.

Essential Attributes

Success in this role requires excellent communication skills and an aptitude for cultivating strong relationships with various stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with HR frameworks and be capable of applying their knowledge effectively across diverse HR scenarios to support both their team and clients.
