Cart Attendant

Job Summary

Cart Attendants play an essential role in ensuring customers experience a positive impression of our store from arrival to departure. Their responsibilities include collecting shopping carts from the parking area, operating equipment to transport carts inside the store, and keeping carts clean and sanitary. This role requires a cheerful and adaptable attitude regardless of weather conditions.

Compensation Details

• Hourly wages range from $16 to $29, with the final rate meeting or surpassing the minimum wage requirement for the location.
• Additional financial incentives may be provided quarterly or annually based on performance.
• Extra pay premiums between $0.35 and $3.00 per hour may be awarded based on schedule, specific work tasks, season, or location, with the possibility of combining multiple premiums if criteria are satisfied.

Work Schedules and Location

• Employment opportunities available for full-time and part-time positions.
• Shifts include opening, morning, mid-shift, and closing times.
• Work location is Walmart Supercenter #1309, 1851 W Main St, Salem, VA 24153.
