About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate Career Counselor dedicated to guiding students at both school and college levels in their career journeys. Your role will involve engaging with students to understand their aspirations, employing career assessment tools to identify their strengths and interests, and providing valuable insights about various career opportunities and the offerings of our institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct personalized one-on-one interactions with students to explore their passions and goals.
• Utilize diverse career assessment methods to help students uncover their potential and interests.
• Inform students about different career options available and the academic programs supported by the institution.
• Deliver motivational talks to inspire and encourage students in their career planning.
• Collaborate closely with academic advisors to ensure alignment between students' educational paths and career objectives.
• Maintain detailed records of student interactions, guidance provided, and their aspirations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in career counseling, ideally with exposure to both school and college settings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including active listening and the ability to inspire and motivate.
• Strong interest in current career trends and the capability to identify emerging pathways.
• Ability to build networks and rapport with diverse student groups.
• Compliance with background checks and any other regulatory prerequisites of the institution or region.
