About the Programme
This Career Conversion Programme (Attach-and-Train) is designed to develop skilled professionals for Singapore’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector, focusing on advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing roles. The programme includes 15 months of structured on-the-job training at GSK’s manufacturing site in Tuas, Singapore. Eligibility is limited to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents due to programme requirements.
Learning Objectives
- Understand supply planning principles and their application at a primary vaccine production facility, including mechanisms to ensure continuous supply.
- Grasp production planning concepts in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setup.
- Explore planning processes for multi-product manufacturing operations.
- Develop skills in creating and interpreting reporting tools using Power BI to monitor key performance indicators.
- Comprehend key quality management systems, including change control and deviation handling.
- Operate enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across departments, including Production and Engineering.
Candidate Profile
- The ability to rapidly learn and apply good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards.
- Keen attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving skills motivated by curiosity.
- Proactive and clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Capability to adapt to changing environments and perform well under pressure.
- Strong teamwork orientation and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
