This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, payers, governmental bodies, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute national market access strategies and plans that facilitate product launches and guarantee long-term access.
  • Establish and sustain trusted partnerships with public payers, private insurance providers, hospital procurement teams, and other relevant local stakeholders.
  • Identify and overcome access barriers through evidence-based, practical solutions, including local pilot programs or partnerships.
  • Lead the development of reimbursement dossiers, value narratives, and evidence summaries tailored to local and regional requirements.
  • Supply ongoing market and payer analysis to guide commercial, medical, and policy-related decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure compliance and successful negotiations during tenders and contracting processes.

This position includes fieldwork across Saudi Arabia and occasional regional interactions.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, health economics, public health, or related disciplines.
  • Two to three years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, government affairs, or commercial roles within healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Saudi national status.
  • Fluency in Arabic and working proficiency in English.
  • Basic knowledge of the Saudi healthcare landscape, including public payers, hospital procurement, or private insurers.
  • Exposure to tendering processes, account management, or payer engagement is favorable.
  • Demonstrated aptitude or enthusiasm for cultivating relationships with healthcare stakeholders such as hospital accounts and procurement teams.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data for value communication and business case development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in health economics, business, or pharmacy.
  • Background in preparing reimbursement submissions, health economic modeling, or budget impact analyses.
  • Established network with Saudi health authorities, national procurement entities, or major hospitals.
  • Experience with tender management, pricing strategies, or public sector contracting.
  • Previous experience in vaccines, specialty medicines, or large pharmaceutical companies.

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate communicates clearly and concisely, simplifying complex information for various audiences. They are dependable, act with integrity and respect, work collaboratively, and apply insights and data to offer actionable recommendations. A motivation to advance and improve patient access throughout Saudi Arabia is essential.
