About the Role
We are inviting a compassionate and commercially astute leader to manage a reputable aged care home located in Central Auckland. This facility, highly valued for its quality care and stable environment, provides both hospital-level and dementia support. Backed by an experienced team and collaborative regional leadership, the role is ideal for someone who wishes to enhance an already well-established foundation with their unique leadership insights and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and development of strategic goals for the care home
- Ensure clinical and managerial supervision of both hospital and dementia care services
- Handle budgeting, workforce scheduling, and resource distribution
- Champion continuous quality improvements, maintain compliance, and uphold health and safety standards
- Build and nurture strong connections with residents, their families, staff members, and the local community
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team focused on high performance
- Encourage a culture emphasizing engagement, responsibility, and ongoing enhancements
Candidate Profile
- Holds a current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Possesses leadership experience within aged care, healthcare, or a similar field
- Has experience managing hospital-level and dementia care services
- Demonstrates strong skills in financial and operational management
- Has a firm grasp of quality assurance systems, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance
- Exhibits excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Leads with a collaborative, resident-centered approach
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary between 130000 and 140000 NZD
