Car Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and professional Car Driver to operate company vehicles safely for official and personal assignments involving the Company's Director, employees, clients, and guests. The driver will ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while strictly following traffic laws and maintaining confidentiality and decorum.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive the assigned vehicle safely according to traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Provide timely and professional transportation for the Company's Director to various locations including office, meetings, airports, hotels, and other designated destinations.
• Transport company employees, clients, and visitors as required.
• Plan and select the most efficient travel routes considering current traffic to ensure on-time arrival.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle including fuel, oil, coolant, tires, brakes, lights, battery, and other essential parts.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation such as Registration Certificate, Insurance, Pollution Under Control Certificate, Permit, and Fitness Certificate are valid and accessible.
• Arrange timely vehicle servicing, repairs, maintenance, and renew necessary documents.
• Keep detailed daily logbook records comprising trips, mileage, fuel usage, tolls, parking fees, and related expenditure.
• Support administrative tasks like document delivery, bank errands, and procurement when asked.
• Report immediately any vehicle issues, accidents, damage, or traffic violations to management.
• Securely park the vehicle after use.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possession of a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in professional driving.
• In-depth knowledge of road networks within Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and adjacent areas, including traffic patterns and alternative routes.
• A clean driving history free from significant traffic offenses.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and problem-solving skills.
• Punctuality, discipline, trustworthiness, and a neat personal appearance.
• Effective communication skills combined with a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism especially while transporting the Company's Director.
• Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, odd hours, and travel outside the city when required.
