Qualcomm Canada ULC is a leading technology innovator driving advancements in communication and data processing to enable smarter, connected experiences. Joining our elite Camera Design Solutions IP team, you will contribute to delivering the Spectra Image Signal Processor (ISP) integrated into various Snapdragon SoCs.

The position focuses on front-end implementation of Camera IP cores, involving integration from RTL to physical design stages within advanced ASIC flows. You will collaborate closely with camera development and physical design teams, tackling challenges related to deep sub-micron technology nodes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the RTL to GDSII design flow across tools and techniques including synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, physical design, and ECO generation and verification.
• Implement and deliver high-quality Camera cores moving from RTL to netlist stages.
• Evaluate and improve design flows and processes continually.
• Conduct RTL synthesis applying physically aware methodologies.
• Perform formal verification and low power checks using industry-standard tools for RTL-netlist and netlist-netlist consistency.
• Perform static timing analysis and develop constraints at both block and SoC levels to meet timing closure requirements.
• Generate and validate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for functional and timing fixes in partnership with physical design teams.
• Execute low power synthesis workflows across multiple operating corners.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance workflow productivity and support debugging activities related to synthesis, STA, ECO, and verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with minimum 2 years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or relevant experience.
• Or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline with at least 1 year of pertinent ASIC experience.
• Or PhD in a related technical field.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,100 to $135,100 annually. This is complemented by a competitive discretionary bonus program and the possibility of annual RSU grants, though sales-incentive plan employees are ineligible for the bonus.
