About The Role
Games Workshop is seeking a CAM Engineer to join their exceptional tooling team responsible for crafting injection mould tools used to produce the world's leading fantasy miniatures. This role requires working under tight deadlines to ensure products reach global customers promptly and in perfect condition. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and adopt a 'right first-time' mindset to guarantee all products meet specifications and maintain optimal equipment and workspace conditions.
Responsibilities
The CAM Engineer will focus on continuous quality improvement, adherence to processes and practices, and identifying opportunities for enhancements. Duties include producing new injection mould tools, maintaining and improving current tooling, offering technical insights to R&D during ongoing trials, and actively contributing to problem-solving and change initiatives. Organized and methodical, the role requires following tasks through to completion and effective communication of any challenges to appropriate parties.
Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate practical CNC engineering experience. Familiarity with Delcam software and Heidenhain control systems is preferred. A logical approach and excellent attention to detail are essential.
