Calculator (m/f/d) in Track Construction

Position Overview

STRABAG Rail GmbH is seeking a Calculator (m/f/d) in the field of track construction based in Bad Hersfeld, Hesse, Germany. This role involves independent and responsible estimation of construction services related to track laying projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently performing calculations for construction services in track construction.
• Evaluating tender documents and performing cost determinations by requesting price quotations.
• Preparing offers with the involvement of internal and external specialists as well as subcontractors.
• Verifying and recording offers from subcontractors and material requests.
• Developing order and work calculations.
• Collaborating with team members on quantity surveying.
• Maintaining and updating the calculation data accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) or completion of a technical vocational training with experience in calculation and/or construction management.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site technological processes and cost calculation methods.
• Basic affinity for IT, excellent skills in MS Office, and good user proficiency in calculation software (e.g., RIB-iTWO).
• Fluency in German language, both spoken and written, at negotiation level.
