About the Role
We are searching for a warm and enthusiastic Café Team Member to become part of our welcoming team. This role involves engaging customers by delivering excellent service, including taking food and drink orders and serving high-quality meals and Costa Coffee beverages. The position offers opportunities to work with delicious food, premium coffee, and be part of a supportive team environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve appetizing food and delightful drinks, including Costa Coffee, promptly and courteously at tables, ensuring each guest's needs are met for a memorable dining experience.
- Maintain the café’s inviting atmosphere by ensuring cleanliness and organization, promptly clearing tables, and upholding safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with fellow team members to provide prompt service, reduce wait times, and create a smooth, pleasant experience for all guests.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurants, coffee shops, or food service is advantageous but not essential.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking efficiently while remaining organized.
- Friendly demeanor paired with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and peak periods.
Compensation
Hourly pay rates can reach up to £12.71, dependent on age.
