About the Role

Join our dynamic café team and start each day by helping to create a welcoming environment for our customers. As a Café Team Member, you will engage in a mix of food preparation, customer interaction, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This role offers lively daily challenges, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional growth. We guarantee a minimum of 8 working hours weekly with scheduled shifts notified 3 weeks in advance. Flexibility is supported, and applicants close to the availability windows are encouraged to apply. Note: Candidates must be 18 years or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen tools and equipment.
• Serve customers promptly and attentively.
• Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety protocols while keeping accurate daily logs.
• Implement first in, first out (FIFO) techniques to ensure freshness of food items.
• Manage deliveries and ensure proper, safe storage of food supplies.
• Follow all operational guidelines and policies carefully.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items consistently according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure availability of menu items and uphold quality standards.
• Have thorough knowledge of the menu to serve food as intended.
• Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues to the Café Manager as necessary.
• Stay informed with company updates and new initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing customer tables regularly.
