About the Role

Join our cafe team to contribute to a dynamic environment full of daily variety. As a cafe team member, you will blend cooking, customer interaction, and maintaining high standards in your duties. Your commitment to excellent service ensures each dish meets quality and safety expectations, while you also help keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and hygienic.

This position offers the excitement of new challenges, flexible scheduling, opportunities for growth, and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours work per week. We seek candidates who can generally be available within designated weekly time slots, with shifts scheduled three weeks in advance. Flexibility for slightly different availability will be considered. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen tools and equipment.
• Serve customers promptly and courteously.
• Observe food safety and hygiene regulations and document compliance daily.
• Follow FIFO for stock rotation to ensure freshness.
• Receive deliveries and properly store food items.
• Adhere to all operational procedures consistently.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items according to cafe standards.
• Ensure consistent quality and availability of food products.
• Possess thorough menu knowledge and serve items as intended.
• Manage customer concerns and coordinate with management as necessary.
• Stay informed of company communications and new initiatives.
• Clean and sanitize customer tables to maintain a tidy cafe ambiance.
