About Cafe Knotted Australia
Established in Seoul in 2017, Cafe Knotted is an acclaimed dessert brand with a global footprint, including over 40 outlets in Korea, two in the US, and ongoing expansion in Australia. After inaugurating our Burwood location in 2025, we are launching a new café near Hyde Park, Sydney, scheduled for October 2026. We are recognized for our unique cream-filled donuts, specialty coffee, artisan pastries, and welcoming service.
Role Overview
We are seeking sociable, energetic, and dependable individuals to fill the Cafe All-Rounder role at our Hyde Park store opening. The role involves multitasking across service areas, supporting customer service, preparing drinks, maintaining product presentation, and ensuring efficient daily store operations. Ideal for those who enjoy engaging with customers and contribute effectively in a dynamic team atmosphere.
Primary Duties
- Greet and serve customers warmly and efficiently.
- Accurately handle orders and payments via POS systems.
- Provide service for donuts, pastries, coffee, and other menu items.
- Support basic beverage preparation tasks as needed.
- Manage appealing and well-stocked product displays.
- Replenish stock, packaging, and consumables throughout shifts.
- Keep front-of-house, dining, and service areas clean and organized.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures.
- Collaborate closely with baristas, pastry chefs, and management for seamless service.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in café, retail, restaurant, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Confident and friendly communication skills with customers.
- Capability to perform well under fast-paced, busy conditions.
- A positive mindset and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong team orientation.
- Detail-oriented with dedication to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Availability for morning, evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
- Holders of full Australian work rights are eligible.

Additional Information
Employment Term: Full-time or part-time at the new Hyde Park café, commencing October 2026.
Hourly Pay Rate: $26.44 plus superannuation.
Location: Close to Hyde Park, Sydney, NSW.
