Job Summary

This role requires a developer with a strong background in Order Management Systems (OMS) and eCommerce, primarily working with Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, Fluent Ecommerce OMS, or Sterling OMS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating enterprise-grade microservices, preferably with Java Spring Boot, and should possess solid knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• At least 4 years experience working in eCommerce or OMS roles.
• Minimum of 2 years working directly with Blue Yonder, Manhattan Active Omni, Fluent Ecommerce OMS, or Sterling OMS platforms.
• Hands-on experience in developing enterprise microservices applications with emphasis on Java Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with one or more cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a preference for AWS.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and reactive microservices programming is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud services like API Gateways, serverless computing, message broker systems including Event Bus, Event Bridge, Kafka, and Kinesis.
• Strong proficiency in API technologies such as REST, JSON, GraphQL, and Swagger.
• Experience with integrating third-party services including payment gateways, fraud checks, address validation, and tax services.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Understanding of in-memory or distributed caching systems like Spring Cache, EhCache, or Redis.
• Good grasp of retail domain concepts.
• Development experience using Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of integration layers involving Kafka, Kinesis, payload transformations, and implementing non-functional requirements (NFRs) with message brokers.
