Role Overview
The Buyer Trainee will be responsible for managing the complete Source to Pay cycle for assigned procurement categories, mainly focusing on Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and indirect materials. The role involves negotiation of strategic pricing and contract terms, operational sourcing activities, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position supports maintaining procurement master data and ensuring compliance with Roche's and RSTO's procurement guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Source to Pay process for assigned procurement categories, ensuring uninterrupted availability of materials.
- Negotiate strategic pricing and contract arrangements with suppliers for assigned categories.
- Execute operational sourcing and procurement activities in line with Roche Global Procurement standards and RSTO Third Party Spend Policy.
- Create and maintain procurement master data such as Purchase Information Records (PIR), contracts, and source lists within the SAP system.
- Support enforcement of the RSTO Third Party Spend Policy and ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant guidelines, regulatory, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.
