Role Overview
- Greet every guest warmly with a smile and demonstrate sincere hospitality while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Support servers by promptly delivering food to guests, enhancing overall service quality.
- Maintain table settings by clearing and preparing tables to meet Tommy Bahama's high standards.
- Ensure all dining and work areas are kept spotless and sanitary for both guests and staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience serving or similar roles in a full-service restaurant environment.
- Possession of a valid food handler’s card and alcohol service certification compliant with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage service protocols and hospitality practices.
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility to undertake additional duties as necessary to support business operations.
Physical Demands
- Ability to frequently lift or move items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Regular need to bend, stoop, and kneel throughout shifts.
- Capability to stand for the entire duration of a shift.
- Experience or ability to operate equipment such as hand carts, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys, and other tools specified in training materials.
Compensation and Additional Details
Hourly wages vary according to factors including individual experience, knowledge, expertise, work location, and budget. The pay range is from $15.00 or minimum wage up to $17.00 per hour, plus tips.
