Job Role and Responsibilities

As a Busser at HomeGrown, your key mission will be to enhance guests' experience by maintaining clean and safe dining spaces. You will be responsible for clearing tables promptly after meals, cleaning and resetting tables, sweeping and mopping floors around dining areas, replenishing condiments and utensils, and assisting servers with food delivery. Additionally, you'll keep service stations tidy and well-stocked.

• Clear dishes and napkins and return them to the kitchen.
• Clean floors and chairs near tables by sweeping and mopping.
• Maintain supply levels of glassware, silverware, and dishes.
• Sanitize and reset tables after guests leave.
• Refill salt, pepper, and other condiments on tables.
• Assist servers in delivering food.
• Keep designated service stations clean and stocked.

Qualification Standards and Physical Requirements

We seek individuals who are eager to care for others, develop professionally, and bring a positive attitude. The role demands mobility throughout the entire shift, with physical tasks including transporting plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift, wiping down table surfaces and booth seats, and cleaning floors. You must be capable of moving and carrying items up to 25 pounds, bending and stooping as necessary, and have sufficient vision to notice cleanliness and operate touchscreen devices. Compensation and Culture

Full-time team members receive competitive pay comparable or better than traditional restaurant roles, including paid time off and benefits such as vision, dental, and medical coverage. Bussers may be compensated via a tip credit minimum wage plus tips, though actual earnings vary by availability. Our team culture prioritizes kindness, teamwork, personal growth, and a friendly atmosphere. Employees enjoy shifts concluding by 3:30 pm daily.
