Role Overview - Busser
As a Busser, your mission is to contribute to exceptional customer experiences by maintaining clean and safe dining environments that encourage guests to return.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear tables post-meals, removing dishware and napkins and returning them to the kitchen.
- Sweep and mop floors and clean chairs adjacent to dining tables.
- Ensure adequate stocks of glassware, silverware, and dishware are maintained.
- Sanitize and reset tables promptly after meals.
- Refill condiments such as salt and pepper on tables as needed.
- Assist servers by delivering food items when required.
- Keep designated service areas tidy and well-stocked.
Qualifications and Expectations
- Demonstrated willingness to care for others, with eagerness to grow and learn.
- A consistently positive and proactive attitude.
- Capability to clean table surfaces, legs, booths, and pick debris from floors throughout the restaurant.
- Physical stamina to transport plates, glasses, and baskets approximately 30 times per shift between dining areas, service bar, and kitchen.
- Continuous mobility throughout work shifts, including bending and stooping.
Physical Requirements
This role requires navigating the restaurant environment and interacting with guests. Staff must be able to move and handle items up to 5 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Adequate vision to assess cleanliness and operate touchscreen devices is necessary. Reasonable accommodations are provided for employees with disabilities.
