Job Overview

Position based in Lahaina, HI offering a full-time role with competitive salary. The Busser plays a crucial role in preparing the dining area for service, assisting guests and staff, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth dining operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant by setting up sections, polishing and readying linens, silverware, and glassware prior to service.
• Welcome guests warmly and cordially upon arrival.
• Support the service team by clearing dishes and glasses from tables and counters during meals and transporting them to the kitchen.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests finish dining to prepare for subsequent guests.
• Address guest requests and concerns promptly, taking steps to resolve any issues.
• Keep service areas stocked with necessary supplies such as tableware and linens throughout the service period.
• Remove trash from filled receptacles and replace liners regularly.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness standards in all duties performed.
• Adhere to work schedules punctually and comply with attendance policies.

• Physical capabilities include constant standing, walking, reaching, and lifting or carrying 11-20 lbs; frequent use of hands, stair climbing, bending, and pushing/pulling 10-25 lbs; occasional reaching above shoulder, squatting or kneeling, lifting/carrying 21-50 lbs, and pushing/pulling 26-40 lbs.
