Role Overview and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supporting the analysis and development of business opportunities, customer engagement, and coordination across various stakeholders to drive the growth and operational effectiveness of the Kotapadu plant.
- Assist in financial analysis of business prospects, including cost-benefit assessments and evaluation of profitability.
- Contribute to preparing business reports, forecasting, and performance reviews by gathering and analyzing data.
- Maintain and update business databases ensuring commercial and operational information accuracy.
- Monitor business performance indicators and provide regular management updates.
- Facilitate customer relationship activities ensuring prompt responses to their needs.
- Coordinate document collection, approvals, and commercial details with customers.
- Maintain consistent communication with both existing and potential customers.
- Support customer onboarding and contract implementation procedures.
- Manage resolution of customer queries via coordination with internal teams.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities aligned with plant and organizational goals.
- Conduct visits to customers, sites, and perform waste surveys and market mapping to explore opportunities.
- Generate leads and actively work on converting them into long-term business engagements.
- Develop and nurture relationships with waste generators, industries, traders, and consultants.
- Support achievement of acquisition targets through ongoing prospecting and engagement.
- Gather market intelligence concerning competitors, pricing patterns, emerging waste streams, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in the preparation of commercial proposals, business presentations, and submissions to customers.
- Liaise with plant, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and operations of new business.
- Monitor assigned customer accounts and support timely resolution of any operational or commercial challenges.
- Keep detailed records of leads, customer interactions, business opportunities, and their progress.
- Support implementation efforts for Alternative Fuels and waste management initiatives in assigned areas.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with customers, waste generators, suppliers, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of business activities.
- Represent the company in meetings, site visits, and business discussions.
- Ensure efficient communication between customers and internal teams to resolve concerns promptly and ensure successful business delivery.
Eligibility
Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or a Bachelor of Technology/Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering.
