Role Overview

We seek a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our UK-based team, primarily working remotely with occasional events and biannual company retreats in Estonia. The BDR will be instrumental in driving growth by sourcing new business opportunities through outbound contact methods such as cold calls, emails, social channels, and networking events. The role involves engaging key decision-makers to qualify leads for the sales team, collaborating with marketing and sales colleagues to convert prospects into solid opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Account Executives and the marketing department to advance potential clients through the sales funnel at appropriate stages.
  • Build and nurture relationships with C-level and Director-level stakeholders by sharing educational content, event invitations, and maintaining engagement to foster trust.
  • Effectively manage your sales pipeline and opportunities to ensure timely follow-ups and capture of leads.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience in a sales or client-interfacing role with achievement of performance goals, preferably within SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach approaches, particularly telephone engagement with prospects.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience to stay positive and focused when facing challenges.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to maximize impactful activities.
  • Passionate about sales, committed to continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Proactive and curious mindset towards exploring new tools, techniques, and methodologies for enhancing productivity.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales targets selling SaaS solutions to executives in professional services industries such as marketing, advertising, architecture, or consulting.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like HubSpot, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Interest in software industry trends, technical aspects, and innovations in sales strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive annual gross salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000, with potential to earn an additional £20,000 through performance bonuses.
  • Stock options enabling participation in Scoro's growth and success.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including AXA insurance, paid medical leave, and mental health services coverage.
  • Employer-supported pension through Smart Pension and additional leave entitlements.
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with 1-5 extra loyalty days based on tenure.
  • Remote working with occasional team events in London and biannual global gatherings in Estonia.
  • Home office setup allowance and paid parental leave after 12 months of employment (12 weeks maternity, 8 weeks paternity).
  • Training budget, unlimited Udemy access, and resources for continuous professional development.
  • A collaborative, diverse, and inclusive company culture valuing trust, teamwork, and work-life balance.

Recruitment Process
