Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a vital contributor to Fin's revenue expansion by effectively generating pipeline opportunities. The BDR achieves this by engaging prospects and customers creatively to communicate Fin’s value proposition clearly and compellingly. Fin invests substantially in the professional growth of its BDRs, encouraging career advancement into Account Executive or closing sales roles through a supportive, high-achieving team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives to identify and prioritize strategic target accounts using detailed analysis of firmographics, technographics, and buyer intent data.
- Generate new business opportunities via expert cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and targeted LinkedIn social selling, especially crafting tailored messaging for executive-level prospects.
- Deliver a highly tailored and engaging experience to prospective enterprise clients, acting as the initial contact and trusted advisor to showcase Fin’s solutions.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Fin’s product offerings and unique value propositions.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product teams to optimize pipeline generation processes and provide valuable feedback from the field.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A strong ambition to pursue a sales career, ideally progressing to roles focused on deal closure.
- At least one year of customer-facing experience, with previous sales or SaaS background advantageous.
- Proven experience managing and succeeding with Enterprise-level accounts.
- Excellent operational skills, effectively managing time to prioritize revenue-generating tasks and pipeline growth.
- Solid knowledge of the SaaS market landscape and target verticals, with a habit of staying updated on industry trends and news.
- Proficiency in prospecting techniques, including multi-channel outreach via calls, emails, and social platforms.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and engagingly across various formats and audiences.
- A growth mindset, open to feedback, self-aware of strengths and areas for improvement, and committed to continual self-improvement.
- A results-driven approach with a persistent attitude towards quota achievement, progression, and team contributions.
Desirable Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRMs and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce (SFDC), Outreach, Cognism, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
