Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative focused on the West Coast region, you will be pivotal in driving company growth by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities. Successful performance in this role can pave the way toward becoming an Auvik Account Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and gather business intelligence on prospective and existing accounts.
- Engage in meaningful discussions with senior-level executives to promote Auvik's offerings.
- Clearly communicate the advantages and capabilities of Auvik's network management software to prospects.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified sales opportunities and customer meetings.
- Act as a passionate advocate for Auvik's product suite to generate new business.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging demeanor, enjoying the interaction involved in sales conversations.
- Ability to establish quick connections with diverse individuals.
- Strong verbal and written communication competencies.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales, business development, or fundraising roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.

Compensation
The salary for this position is $42,500 CAD annually, with an on-target-earnings potential of $61,000 CAD. Besides base pay, employees are eligible for stock options and benefits such as health and dental plans, wellness funding, retirement matching, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave, and remote work subsidies.
