Role Summary
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) (m/w/d) within the marketing team, you will play a crucial role in the go-to-market strategy. You will be the initial point of contact for potential customers, qualifying leads and nurturing relationships, ensuring the sales team is supported with a robust and qualified sales pipeline. Our company offers a clear product, defined processes, and close collaboration between marketing and sales, providing you an environment to quickly take ownership and grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound leads received via email and phone by assessing fit (Ideal Customer Profile, needs, timing) and handing over well-qualified prospects to sales in an organized manner.
- Conduct proactive outbound outreach by identifying target companies and contacts, engaging them through email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to build a continuous pipeline.
- Collaborate on the creation and refinement of outreach campaigns and strategies to enhance lead generation processes across the customer journey.
- Establish initial relationships with decision-makers from various industries and maintain accurate documentation of all activities in the CRM (HubSpot).
- Support lead generation at trade shows, events, and networking forums and represent Operations1 externally as needed.
- Work closely with sales to co-develop the pipeline and regularly provide feedback to marketing to improve campaigns, content, and audience targeting.
Candidate Profile
- At least one year of relevant experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to skillfully address objections and persuade prospects.
- Analytical and critical thinker who can quickly interpret and prioritize information.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and goal-oriented work style focused on KPIs.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and ambitious to grow in a performance-driven environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
Why Join Operations1
- Become part of a creative, motivated, and supportive team working with some of the most exciting manufacturing clients.
- Enjoy the opportunity to actively shape your role, assume responsibility, and drive meaningful change within a growing company.
- Participate in the Virtual Stock Option Program (VSOP) offering direct involvement in company success.
- Benefit from 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours including home office, educational budget, company-wide events, and other employee benefits.
Application Process
After submitting your application, you will receive prompt feedback and a streamlined recruitment process, with the opportunity to meet the team in person on site.
