Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative focused on the Korean market, you will leverage your strong consultative sales skills to cultivate enduring relationships with potential clients and executive sponsors. Your role involves positioning our platform as a superior alternative to traditional ERP systems and transforming clients into key references. Ideal candidates are self-driven sales professionals who flourish in dynamic, multifaceted environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and inform the marketplace about Workday's cutting-edge technology and solutions.
- Drive lead generation through strategic outbound prospecting targeting large enterprise companies.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior executives, gaining insight into their business challenges and future goals to tailor Workday solutions accordingly.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new business opportunity quotas.
- Collaborate effectively as part of the regional sales team, partnering with country managers and marketing to shape and execute business growth strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the competitive market and customer needs for effective product positioning.
- Effective communication skills for marketing support and event participation.
- Proficient in initiating contact with prospective accounts and establishing foundational relationships.
- Capability to develop early-stage sales pipelines and nurture prospects.
- Knowledgeable in explaining the benefits of on-demand and web services architectures.
- Experience with consultative selling techniques.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in inside sales or sales development roles.
- Native-level proficiency in Korean and fluent in English.
