Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at AMCS Berlin, you will be a pivotal member of the EMEA Sales Development Team. Reporting to the Marketing Team Lead, your mission will involve enhancing the sales pipeline by qualifying inbound leads and uncovering new business opportunities that align with AMCS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle, process, and qualify incoming leads using BANT criteria.
- Assess client requirements and precisely align them with AMCS' product offerings.
- Maintain comprehensive expertise on AMCS solutions to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Create persuasive talk tracks and design multi-touch engagement cadences for demand generation.
- Proactively identify and cultivate new business prospects within your regional sales territory.
- Implement outbound campaigns by sourcing leads via research, analysis, and needs assessment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives such as Directors, VPs, and CXOs within target organizations.
- Build and manage a robust database of decision-makers, buyers, and influencers in target companies.
- Arrange and coordinate discovery calls with prospective clients and designated Sales Representatives.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Representatives, ensuring smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Achieve and surpass defined performance targets.
- Track and document all sales-related activity in Salesforce.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Marketing Team Lead to discuss progress, initiatives, and challenges.
- Contribute insights during regional team meetings regarding lead quality, market trends, and conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with over two years of experience in business or sales development, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- Exceptional communication skills including active listening, written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in research, cold calling, and lead qualification.
- Aptitude for building relationships remotely to effectively advance prospects through qualification stages.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Capability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-driven with a hunter mentality focused on achieving targets.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong multitasking capability.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
- Well-developed organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of the SaaS industry.
- Fluency in German and business-level proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are advantageous.
