Company Overview
At Evinced, the focus is on creating inclusive digital experiences by innovating solutions that help large enterprises develop accessible web and mobile applications. Through AI-enabled tools that automatically detect, group, and monitor accessibility issues, the company empowers developers to save time and decrease risks, impacting billions of people worldwide facing disabilities.
Role Overview
As the inaugural Business Development Representative for the EMEA region based in London, this position involves building a robust outbound sales engine from the ground up across the UK and wider EMEA. You will be responsible for generating qualified leads for enterprise Account Executives by engaging engineering leaders, developers, and accessibility professionals, becoming fluent in how Evinced integrates with developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines. This hybrid role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering teams, reporting directly to the Director of Sales, EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the top of the sales funnel in EMEA by researching, prospecting, and initiating contact with new enterprise clients throughout the UK and EMEA region.
- Execute a structured outbound campaign using personalized emails, social platforms, calling, and other outreach methods to schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives.
- Engage technical stakeholders such as engineers, developers, and accessibility teams with knowledge of CI/CD integration and developer tools.
- Assess and qualify sales opportunities thoroughly, ensuring well-prepared handoffs to the Account Executive team.
- Map and understand multi-stakeholder enterprise buying groups to identify optimal entry points.
- Collaborate with Marketing on regional campaigns and handle inbound leads from EMEA as a secondary responsibility.
- Maintain precise CRM records, including all activities, notes, and pipeline updates.
- Represent the company at EMEA industry events to bolster regional brand presence.
- Become a knowledgeable advocate of digital accessibility as a strategic sales angle.
- Contribute to developing the EMEA BDR operational playbook for future hires.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in outbound BDR or SDR roles within B2B SaaS environments, preferably with enterprise clients.
- Proven ability to independently generate sales pipeline and exceed meeting and opportunity targets.
- Ability to engage technical audiences credibly or a strong desire to quickly master technical selling.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of crafting compelling cold emails and confidently conducting initial sales calls.
- Highly organized with strong discipline in CRM management, capable of handling a large volume of activities efficiently.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused setting by building processes from the beginning.
- Located in or near London with the ability to work hybrid from the London office.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical sales involving developer tools, DevOps, CI/CD, testing, or digital experience platforms.
- Knowledge or familiarity with digital accessibility standards and ecosystems such as WCAG, ADA/Section 508, or the EU Accessibility Act.
- Hands-on experience with outbound sales tools like Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Cognism, or Apollo.
- Proficiency in additional European languages such as German, French, or Spanish is a plus.
