Job description

About Airtable

Airtable enables organizations to design and implement the applications and workflows that suit their unique business processes without being limited by standard software solutions. Its versatile platform incorporates a relational database, customizable applications, automations, and artificial intelligence, allowing teams to craft tailored solutions that align with their actual work styles. Over 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to manage their critical operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking driven, inquisitive individuals who thrive in a dynamic sales environment. The role requires engagement with diverse customers, understanding their distinct challenges, and earning opportunities for meaningful conversations about Airtable's product. This position demands creativity in outreach strategies that go beyond scripted approaches and encourages autonomy to experiment and rapidly learn what resonates with prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a combined inbound and outbound sales pipeline: initially respond to product-led signals, followed by focused outbound prospecting activities.
  • Qualify leads through multiple channels, including calls, emails, and professional social networks, to set up meetings for Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on strategic account planning and outreach within assigned territories.
  • Continuously develop and refine outbound sales tactics, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality.
  • Participate in a structured weekly coaching schedule encompassing pipeline reviews, messaging refinement, and skill development such as cold calling, qualification techniques, and overcoming objections.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer pain points to communicate with genuine awareness and credibility.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess strong motivation and eagerness to learn; practical experience or formal pedigree is less critical than a commitment to growth and persistence.
  • Demonstrate resilience and consistency in the face of rejection inherent in high-volume outbound activities.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of crafting compelling, customer-centric narratives.
  • Be comfortable using or quickly adapting to AI technologies integrated into the sales workflow to improve productivity.
  • Fluency in French or German alongside English is advantageous but not mandatory, especially within our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) team.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Targets for on-target earnings (OTE) range between £70,000 and £74,000 annually, depending on experience, with the role based at the EMEA headquarters in Borough Yards, London.
  • An annual commuting allowance of £7,500 to support travel expenses.
  • Comprehensive private medical, dental, and vision insurance with options for subsidized dependents' coverage.
  • Family support programs including up to £7,200 yearly through Carrot for parenting assistance and a minimum of 16 weeks fully paid parental leave.
  • Childcare savings opportunities up to 42% annually via a workplace nursery salary sacrifice scheme.
  • A 9% company pension contribution and additional protection plans.
  • A monthly wellness budget of £150 to invest in health, mindfulness, hobbies, or self-care activities.
  • Daily catered lunches while working in the office.
  • A £750 one-time allowance to set up a comfortable home office space.
  • 25 days of annual leave complemented by 4 company-wide Recharge Days plus extra holiday time during the winter break.
  • Five paid Volunteer Days annually to contribute to social causes individually or with colleagues.

Diversity and Inclusion

Airtable is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives. We are committed to equal opportunity and providing reasonable accommodations during the application process to individuals with disabilities.

Additional Information

Compensation varies by location, skills, and experience. For London-based roles, the salary range is £70,000 to £74,000 GBP. Official communication only comes from @airtable.com email addresses. Candidates should be vigilant against fraud or job scams and may reach out to the company directly for verification.
