Overview
Personio is revolutionizing HR for small and medium businesses by delivering an intelligent platform that makes complex and time-consuming tasks straightforward and efficient. With a team of 1,500 employees, the company supports over 15,000 clients and their 1.5 million workforce members by crafting intuitive, user-friendly products that truly engage users. Join us in Dublin and contribute to impactful work from the outset.
Role and Impact
As an essential part of the UK & Ireland team, you will become the initial point of contact for many thriving companies in the region. While prior sales experience isn't mandatory, you must be eager to learn, possess strong communication talents, and have a determination to make a difference. We provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and continuous support to fast track your career growth.
Your responsibilities will include researching potential clients, developing customized outreach approaches, and engaging decision-makers to present Personio's cutting-edge HR software. This role offers you opportunities to gain business acumen, familiarize yourself with the latest SaaS and HR technology innovations, and collaborate with ambitious professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect strategic medium and mid-market clients using cold calls, emails, and social selling techniques to meet monthly goals for qualified leads and pipeline growth.
- Effectively handle sales objections to clear barriers in the sales process, ensuring progress toward opportunity closure.
- Assess potential client challenges and compatibility with Personio’s solutions by engaging key decision-makers to understand their pain points and objectives.
- Develop sales pipelines and support Account Executives by generating new business opportunities.
- Conduct detailed industry and account research to maintain and organize a business portfolio annually.
- Become an expert in the latest HR technologies and processes to effectively communicate their benefits.
- Implement innovative strategies to connect with multiple decision-makers within prospect accounts.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken, C1 level); knowledge of Irish is advantageous.
- Some prior experience in outbound sales, ideally within a B2B SaaS startup or scale-up environment.
- A driven, competitive, curious, and resilient mindset suited for a fast-moving sales setting.
- Proactive approach, strong communication skills, and aptitude in problem-solving; comfortable managing objections and leading conversations.
- Business savvy, including the ability to converse fluently with C-suite executives, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a bonus.
- Experience in workforce management, HR technology, or cloud-based solutions is also preferable.
Work Environment and Benefits
Personio is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive culture that embraces diversity, ensuring everyone is valued regardless of gender, civil or family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, education, or ethnicity. The working model involves presence in the Dublin office three days a week, with flexible remote work options for the remaining days. Employees are granted 20 flexible remote days per year to work from different locations.
Additional benefits include:
- A competitive and annually reviewed compensation package that combines salary, benefits, and equity opportunities in this pre-IPO company.
- 28 days of paid annual leave, with incremental increases after two and four years of service.
- One fully paid Impact Day dedicated to environmental and social contributions.
- Generous family leave policies, child support, mental health services, and sabbaticals.
- Regular cultural events, social gatherings, catered weekly lunches, and healthy snacks and drinks provided at the workplace.
