Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our expanding team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role represents the initial point of engagement for prospective clients, focused on fueling revenue growth through outbound lead generation and qualification targeted at B2B Fintech or tech solution markets within sectors like gaming, creator economy, or gig economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, develop, and qualify sales-qualified leads across targeted industry verticals.
- Deliver an outstanding, customer-centric first impression to prospects and clients.
- Assess client needs and challenges to evaluate Trolley's solution compatibility.
- Maintain and update customer information diligently utilizing Salesforce and Apollo.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to strategize and expand the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent achievement of set targets across monthly, quarterly, and annual timeframes.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as designated by leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum two years of sales experience within B2B technical or solution sales environments.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Strong enthusiasm for technology sales coupled with solid technical understanding.
- Excellent telephone communication skills and customer service mindset, with proficiency in listening, verbal, and written communication.
- Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, quota-focused role.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Apollo, Clearbit, and related prospecting technology; experience with AI tools is advantageous.
- Effective multitasking abilities.
