Role Overview
This hybrid position requires attendance three days a week at the Sydney office and two days remote. The Business Development Representative will manage outbound initiatives across four to five client accounts, with a primary focus on facilitating connections with key prospects. Responsibilities include booking cold meetings, executing Account-Based Marketing outreach, and engaging warm leads to generate qualified sales engagements. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone, LinkedIn, and email channels to schedule meetings and promote event registrations as applicable.
- Develop and segment prospect lists utilizing LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM platforms.
- Create personalized outreach messages leveraging insights, content, and hooks tailored to senior decision-makers.
- Qualify leads to ensure meetings align with client Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and commercial objectives.
- Provide clear and confident reports on pipeline status and performance metrics.
- Work collaboratively with internal strategy, creative, and communications teams to execute cohesive campaigns.
Candidate Profile
- Possess up to 2 years’ experience in outbound sales, business development representative (BDR), sales development representative (SDR), or similar roles.
- Comfortable and confident engaging with prospects by phone, enjoying pitching and lead qualification conversations.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Motivated by performance targets and results.
- Natural relationship builder and team-oriented mindset.
