Role Overview
We are searching for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to become part of our expanding sales team. This position is perfect for individuals who excel in a high-volume, outbound prospecting environment and are motivated by clear performance outcomes, career growth, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Candidates with prior experience in prospecting and cold outreach are encouraged to apply, including professionals from clinical backgrounds such as nursing or EEG technology who wish to move into medical device sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in proactive outbound prospecting by contacting healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and hospital stakeholders within assigned accounts through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to introduce Ceribell's innovations.
- Conduct in-depth account research to identify key decision-makers and understand clinical and operational challenges impacting patient care.
- Qualify leads by assessing their suitability, level of interest, and urgency while effectively conveying Ceribell's value proposition.
- Arrange high-quality introductory meetings for the field sales team ensuring seamless handoffs.
- Manage and progress sales pipeline through the initial phases effectively.
- Maintain detailed and accurate account records and sales activities using Salesforce.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to implement outbound sales strategies and campaigns.
- Quickly acquire comprehensive product knowledge to confidently present Ceribell's MedTech solutions and their benefits.
- Skillfully handle objections and rejections while maintaining momentum towards sales goals.
- Prioritize outreach efforts and maintain high activity levels to optimize pipeline development in a dynamic setting.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales development, outbound prospecting, cold calling, or client-facing roles. Clinical experience such as nursing or EEG technology with prospecting experience is also valued.
- Strong ambition to enter medical device sales; must be coachable, curious, and eager to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting.
- Results-focused and resilient with motivation driven by targets, metrics, and sustained performance improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, able to quickly build relationships and tailor messaging to diverse healthcare stakeholders.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and high volume activities.
- Demonstrated adaptability and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and resourceful approach based on feedback and outcomes.
- Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar tools.
- Confident in presenting ideas and persuading healthcare professionals of product value.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 USD annually, depending on experience, skills, education, and work location. Additional compensation may include bonuses and equity opportunities.
