Business Development Manager - Dubai

About the Role

Join Deliveroo's Commercial team in Dubai to help revolutionize how people shop and dine by driving growth and innovation. As a Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in onboarding top restaurants and chains across the city, collaborating closely with the team lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively acquire new restaurant partners by prospecting, pitching, and closing deals primarily through telesales.
• Maintain and manage your own sales pipeline effectively, ensuring high conversion rates.
• Supervise partner onboarding to guarantee a fast, efficient, and smooth process.
• Ensure that newly signed partners experience success during the initial weeks post-signing.
• Support the wider commercial team with various projects such as promotional pitch days, marketing roll-outs for restaurants, and collaborative cross-functional initiatives.

Performance Metrics

• Number of restaurant partners signed monthly from targeted prospects.
• Performance evaluation of partners over their first three months.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a BSc or BA degree in business or a related discipline.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in sales, demonstrating a strong track record in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
• Familiarity with the UAE restaurant market landscape.
• Excellent negotiation skills to establish mutually beneficial agreements for partners and the company.
• Commercial acumen with an understanding of delivery economics affecting both restaurants and Deliveroo.
• Ability to confidently exhibit product and industry knowledge to clients.
• Self-motivated and driven to meet challenging targets.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proactive, organized, and efficient working style.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Hindi or Arabic is advantageous.
