About the Role
Mechsoft Technologies LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager specializing in Cybersecurity Solutions to join their Dubai team. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on exploring new business avenues within UAE enterprises and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new cybersecurity business opportunities throughout the UAE across enterprise and commercial accounts.
- Establish and nurture a robust sales pipeline using proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, partnerships, and industry connections.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial prospect qualification to solution presenting, proposal submission, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Engage with senior decision-makers including CISOs, CIOs, IT Heads, and Security Heads to understand their needs.
- Collaborate closely with Mechsoft's technical and pre-sales teams to tailor and position cybersecurity solutions effectively.
- Lead sales efforts across multiple cybersecurity domains such as PAM, VAPT, SOC/MDR, IAM, Data Security, Application Security, OT Security, and Zero Trust architectures.
- Expand business within current accounts by cross-selling and upselling relevant solutions.
- Maintain meticulous records of opportunity progression, estimated close dates, projected revenue and gross profit forecasts, and client communications within the CRM system.
- Produce structured weekly reports on pipeline and sales activities.
- Ensure validation of all commercial and technical promises to clients prior to final confirmation.
- Develop alliances with technology vendors, distributors, and channel partners to uncover collaborative business opportunities.
- Participate actively in client meetings, industry gatherings, and cybersecurity events throughout the UAE region.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally with a background in cybersecurity or enterprise IT solutions.
- Proven track record selling cybersecurity products and services in the UAE and GCC markets.
- Demonstrated success in generating new business, not solely managing pre-existing accounts.
- Experience with one or more of the following cybersecurity solutions: PAM, SOC/MDR, VAPT, IAM, SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR, Application Security, OT security, or Zero Trust frameworks.
- Existing network and relationships with enterprise clients and decision-makers in the UAE will be a strong plus.
- Ability to comprehend customers’ security challenges and conduct consultative sales discussions effectively.
- Experience partnering with pre-sales engineers, vendors, and distributors in handling complex sales processes and RFPs.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation skills, and account management abilities.
- Strong competence in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and CRM usage.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and target-driven with a clear focus on hitting revenue and gross profit goals.
- Possession of a valid UAE driving license is preferred.
Performance Expectations
- Generate new qualified sales pipeline consistently.
- Conduct qualified customer meetings leading to new client acquisitions.
- Manage opportunity progression effectively, driving closures for company growth.
- Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit targets.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain CRM discipline consistently.
