Role Overview
This position operates on a hybrid work model, based primarily in Canberra. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full business development process, from identifying prospective clients, presenting solutions, to securing new partnerships and growing the client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively pursue and engage potential business clients, targeting companies that can benefit from comprehensive travel services.
- Build and nurture lasting relationships to position Corporate Traveller as the preferred and dependable travel partner.
- Understand client travel needs, booking patterns, and challenges to effectively demonstrate the advantages of Corporate Traveller’s innovative offerings.
- Clearly communicate how proposed solutions streamline travel operations, reduce costs, save time, and contribute to business growth.
- Support clients through a streamlined onboarding process, ensuring comfort and integration with services and assigning dedicated travel teams for ongoing expert support.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Minimum of one year experience in a Business Development Manager role focusing on B2B sales/development or sales experience within the Travel and Tourism industry.
- Highly self-driven individual who thrives in sales environments and is dedicated to meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong networking, lead generation capabilities, complemented by excellent communication and presentation skills is highly advantageous.
