Business Development Manager - Builder

About the Role

Fisher & Paykel Appliances, a renowned New Zealand appliance distributor and part of the global Haier group, is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Auckland. This pivotal position involves fostering growth through managing current accounts and securing new partnerships primarily with Builders, Developers, and Authorised Business Distributors. The role offers a chance to engage in strategic market influence while contributing to the brand's expansion in the builder segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business prospects and nurture existing client relations within the builder and developer markets.
• Lead the execution of Fisher & Paykel's builder-focused strategies aligned with global organizational goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive demand generation plans aimed at boosting sales and increasing market share.
• Collaborate strategically with builders, developers, and distributors to create cohesive brand experiences that convert bids into placements.
• Engage in industry events, cold outreach, and networking activities to broaden market presence.
• Maintain rigorous sales plan execution and provide regular reports to both local and international stakeholders.
• Represent customer interests internally, ensuring effective cross-departmental coordination.
• Promote and expand the market presence of Fisher & Paykel and Haier appliances within the builder community.
• Work in close partnership with senior management to achieve aggressive growth objectives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of successful commercial sales experience, proven expertise in lead generation and account management, excellent business planning and prioritization skills, and the capability to influence stakeholders at various organizational levels. A strategic mindset combined with an acute understanding of market dynamics is essential.
