Leveraging a global sourcing network, robust inventory management, logistics expertise, and a commitment to quality, we assist clients in overcoming component shortages, managing lead-time pressures, adapting to lifecycle changes, mitigating EOL risks, controlling costs, and ensuring uninterrupted supply.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding WIN SOURCE's market presence by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within designated regions. This position suits proactive B2B sales experts with strong market insight and relationship-building skills. You will analyze key sectors and clients, transitioning prospects from initial contact toward requests for quotations, proposals, and business collaborations. This role emphasizes deep understanding of local markets, customer behaviors, and supply chain challenges to foster long-term partnerships and tangible sales growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and research targeted industries and major accounts including OEMs, EMS providers, manufacturers, and technology clients within the assigned territory.
  • Develop prioritized lists of prospective customers and set strategic development goals.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients through channels such as email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and relevant industry resources.
  • Present WIN SOURCE’s electronic component sourcing and supply chain solutions effectively to prospective customers.
  • Discern customer procurement needs, supply chain challenges, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Guide clients from initial engagement to generating RFQs, quotations, sample evaluations, meetings, and further commercial engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in sales, sourcing, procurement, and quality to assess customer opportunities and support operational execution.
  • Regularly monitor progress of new customer acquisition and refine regional development tactics.
  • Convert identified leads into measurable sales pipelines and business results.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum three years of professional experience in B2B sales, business development, client acquisition, or market expansion roles.
  • Preferred background includes sectors such as electronics, semiconductors, industrial products, manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution.
  • Experience engaging with OEMs, EMS providers, manufacturers, or technology customers is advantageous.
  • Proven proficiency in cold outreach, sound market assessment, and opportunity spotting.
  • Capability to independently develop client relationships and expand regional markets remotely.
  • Strong skills in business communication, negotiation, and presentation.
  • Result-driven with a focus on transforming potential client opportunities into actionable business.
  • Competent in English and/or relevant local languages for effective communication.

Compensation and Growth

  • Competitive salary package accompanied by performance-linked incentives.
  • Autonomy to independently build and expand a regional market footprint.
  • Exposure to international manufacturing sectors including EMS, OEM, industrial, and technology clients.
  • Opportunities to translate customer development skills into tangible regional sales outcomes.
  • Collaboration with global teams in sourcing, quality assurance, logistics, and sales.
  • Deeper industry knowledge of electronic components and supply chain mechanics.
  • Clear career pathways leading to roles such as Regional Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or regional leadership positions.
