Business Development Executive (BDE)

Job Overview

This role involves driving business growth by identifying and onboarding new merchants and customers specifically for Merchant Lending and Business Loan offerings. The candidate will conduct extensive field visits, engaging directly with merchants and business owners to promote loan products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new merchants/customers for Merchant Lending and Business Loan products.
• Generate leads via on-ground market visits, referrals, and direct merchant engagement.
• Perform routine field visits to eligible merchants and business proprietors.
• Clearly communicate loan products details including eligibility requirements, documentation, and repayment plans.
• Collect and verify required customer documentation and process loan applications according to established procedures.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with both current and potential merchants.
• Meet monthly targets related to sales volumes, system logins, loan disbursements, and field visits.
• Ensure high-quality lead generation with consistent follow-up until loan disbursement is completed.
• Update daily field activities and client data accurately in the company’s software or mobile application.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possession of a motorcycle is mandatory for field visits.
• Must hold a valid driving license.
• Own a personal mobile phone which should not be under EMI.
• Comfortable with performing regular market visits and working in field sales.
• Strong communication and persuasive skills essential.
• Prior experience in Merchant Lending, Business Loan, or Personal Loan domains is preferred.

Compensation

The salary range offered is INR 18,000 to INR 25,000 per month.
